Starting off in the Sky Bet Championship, we have seen two teams in West Bromwich Albion and Leeds United lead the way for a considerable amount of time this season between them.

The Whites sit just one point behind the Baggies after 28 games, and recorded the highest away following in the Championship this season upon their trip to Preston North End back in October 2019.

With the game seemingly slipping away from Marcelo Bielsa’s side after Tom Barkhuizen’s 74th-minute strike, the travelling 5,644 fans who had made the 134-mile round trip were probably thinking that it was a wasted evening.

But with three minutes to spare in normal time, up popped Arsenal loanee Eddie Nketiah to pull the game level and hand the Whites a priceless point in their hunt for promotion to the Premier League.

Heading to Sky Bet League One, Stadium MK was the home to the largest away following of the season so far, welcoming a massive 6,274 Coventry City fans.

The Sky Blues, who find themselves in the race for automatic promotion this season, travelled down to Milton Keynes in their droves in anticipation of another three points to add to the board.

However, that wasn’t to be, as Mark Robins’ side had to settle for a draw on that occasion but have progressed impressively since then.

Sky Bet League Two is turning into a 10-horse race for promotion, with just nine points separating Port Vale in 10th and leaders Swindon Town.

Ryan Lowe’s Plymouth Argyle are right in the mix and find themselves just a point behind Crewe Alexandra, who occupy that last automatic promotion place.

And it was the travelling Green Army that set the bar for the highest away following in League Two this season, when they hit the road to take on league leaders Swindon Town at the County Ground.

The 2,431 stronghold that headed up the M5 had to settle with a point after Joel Grant replied to Eoin Doyle’s opener just before the break.

An immediate return to League One is the target for Plymouth, and with travelling support like the one they possess, it could an unforgettable season for the Green Army.
